In Irish mythology, a king of the fairies plays an enchanted harp. This magical instrument plays three kinds of music: music for joyous celebration, geantraí (GAN-tree); music for quiet contemplation and rest, suantraí (SOON-tree); and music to help people express sorrow, goltraí (GOAL-tree).
